Good Location Easy acess to Metro
Nice comfortable room facing park Retiro
nice location for the Prado and less than 10-15 minute walk to plaza mayor. Room was bigger than most others we had in Spain.
Excellent location: 5 min to Prado museum, 10-15 min to the city center, 0 min to Retiro park, 5 min to city parking (29 euro/day). Very clean, good breakfast (15 euro/person).
The hotel is in an excellent central position for a city break in Madrid.
Location is great, 5mn walk from museums, 15 mn from Plaza di Santa Ana and in front of the Park Del Retiro Our room on the 3rd floor (number 14) was large with a view on the Park Del retiro and very quiet although located on a main street -Breakfast choice was ok - Staff was responsive and nice
- No lobby, very cold at the reception desk - the design, not warm at all - breakfast is on the basement so a bit gloomy - no bath only shower
Very good location. Within walking distance from center, near Prado and Thyssen museums. Much quieter neighborhood then staying in center located hotels. Rooms facing street could be somewhat noisy. Decent size clean rooms with modern design. Small cafe located on a street just right of hotel (facing hotel building) serving good breakfast at much lower price than hotel.
Beds are quite firm, not really comfortable.
Room was not available until 1500 when check in time was 1400 meaning having to wait with young children. We were offered the opportunity to sit in the bar and have a drink but a hotel which cares about service would have offered free drinks in the circumstances. Why should the customer pay for the hotel not being well-organised enough?
Nice interior design.
No waiter around the gate?
It is a small and elegant hotel with great views of the Retiro Park, close to the museums and within walking distance to the Plaza Mayor. The room is designed for convenience and comfort; long work desk, plenty of room around the washing basin to place your toiletries, a small balcony, varied lighting option so that one is able to read.... I stayed there for 4 nights alone and enjoyed every minute. Most hotels in Spain do not equip with kettle, I bought a small electrical coffee machine and made my own expresso in the middle of the night. Three words to conclude: Peaceful, Bright and Elegant.
Great location close to museums and park. Safe neighborhood. Helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable.
Its location is the only advantage.
High tech with poor Wifi signal. Unfriendly staff.
I love the hotel. It is in the centre of the city and still not in the middle of the busy touristic hustle. Our room was looking at the beautiful Retiro park and even though the street is quite big, there was no noise from the outside. Museo del Prado and Thyssen-Bornemisza are just 5 min walk and the whole district is very beautiful. Staff is very nice and helpful and they were the only people in Madrid speaking English (that I met of course). Room was spacious and very clean. Wifi was perfect. I enjoyed the interior and exterior of the hotel. There was nothing to spoil our comfort. I would recommend this hotel and I will stay in the High tech hotels next time I visit Spain.
Breakfast was tasty and we were pleased with it, but for a 4-star hotel I was expecting more things to choose from.
Centraly located and in a very nice place. My room had a lovely view over the park. Liked a lot the building and the decoration, very good mixture between the modern decoration and the recovery of the building.
The breakfast room is in a basement with no windows, although the room architecture is nice, this would be ok for a bar; but breakfast with no windows is really sad. Also they didn't have earl grey tea!
